Tourist Requested to Archery Chickens in Yanji Ice Festival

Jilin - Tourists visit the Ice Festival Yanji in Jilin Province, China. Absurdly surprised when I saw live chickens hanging on the wall of ice. The chickens are strung to travelers archery.

News from Australia, Thursday (01/17/2013), the chickens hanging upside down in a state bound. Apparently this is related to local traditions that make their chicken as archery targets.

Many tourists are surprised and felt it was cruel. Quite often travelers who refuse to do the archery traditions.

However, some other tourists even happy. They marched, taking archery equipment, then shoot live chickens whose blood flowed directly into ice.

Some feel it is cruel, no one considers it as part of the local tradition. Even so, Yanji Ice Festival is still running. Oh my god!
